Pecanmilk French Toast

Pecanmilk French Toast

Recipe Ingredients:

  • 4 slices of your favorite bread (such as baguette or brioche)
  • 1 cup Treehouse Naturals Pecanmilk
  • 2 large eggs (or your go-to substitute!)
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • Your favorite oil or butter

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Griddle or Pan: Heat a non-stick griddle or skillet over medium heat. Add a little butter or cooking oil to coat the surface.
  2. Prepare the Batter: In a mixing bowl, whisk together the pecanmilk, eggs, granulated sugar, ground cinnamon, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. This creates the French toast batter.
  3. Dip and Soak: Dip each slice of bread into the batter, ensuring both sides are well coated. Allow the bread to soak in the batter for about 20-30 seconds, allowing it to absorb the delicious flavors.
  4. Cook the French Toast: Place the soaked bread slices onto the preheated griddle or skillet. Cook until the bottom side is golden brown and slightly crispy, usually 2-3 minutes.
  5. Flip and Cook: Carefully flip each slice of French toast and cook the other side until it's also golden brown and cooked through, about 2-3 minutes more. The pecanmilk in the batter gives it that nutty flavor.
  6. Serve: Transfer the french toast to a plate and keep warm while you cook the remaining slices.
  7. Add Toppings: Serve your Pecanmilk French Toast with your favorite toppings. Drizzle with maple syrup, sprinkle with fresh berries, sliced bananas, chopped pecans, and a dusting of powdered sugar.
  8. Enjoy! Dive in while it's hot and savor the rich, nutty flavors.
